1. About these terms

These Terms of Use govern your use of Scrollshelf’s apps and websites operated by Lumio Studio. Contact us at contact@lumiostudio.co or scrollshelf@lumiostudio.co. By using the service, you agree to these terms to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

2. Your account

Provide accurate account information and protect your sign-in credentials. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account. You must have legal capacity to use the service, or appropriate parental or guardian authorization where required. Scrollshelf is not directed to children under 13. Tell us if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Saving content and AI output

Scrollshelf helps you save links and turn available source content into notes, transcripts and summaries. Availability depends on source platforms, permissions, providers and technical limits. We do not guarantee that every link can be processed or that transcripts and AI-generated results are accurate or complete.

Review results against their sources. Content is for general information and does not replace professional medical, legal, financial or other advice. You remain responsible for decisions based on it.

4. Content ownership and permitted use

You retain rights you hold in your own content. Creators and other rights holders retain their rights in source material. Saving a link or generating a summary does not transfer copyright or grant permission to republish someone else’s work.

You grant us permission to host, process, transmit and display content only as needed to provide the features you request, including processing by service providers and public display when you choose to publish. You must have the necessary rights and permissions to submit and share content.

Do not use Scrollshelf to violate privacy or intellectual-property rights, distribute unlawful content, bypass access controls, abuse the service, or interfere with other users. Report suspected infringement to scrollshelf@lumiostudio.co with the affected URL, the work or right involved, your contact information and an explanation.

5. Public sharing and external assistants

Publishing a note creates a page that other people and search engines may access. Only publish information you are allowed to share. Other users may save copies; unpublishing cannot erase copies already held elsewhere.

If you copy context to an external assistant or visit a source platform, that service’s terms and privacy policy apply. Scrollshelf is not affiliated with or endorsed by social platforms or AI assistants merely because they are mentioned or supported as a source or destination.

6. Free access, subscriptions and cancellation

Free access is subject to the usage limits shown in the app. Paid plans, prices, billing periods and any trial conditions are shown before purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless canceled through the store that processed it. Any trial converts to the disclosed paid plan unless canceled within the store’s required cancellation period.

Manage or cancel Apple subscriptions in your Apple account subscription settings and Google Play subscriptions in Play’s Payments & subscriptions settings. Removing the app or deleting your Scrollshelf account does not cancel a store subscription. Restore purchases using the app’s restore option when available.

Purchases and refunds are handled under the applicable store rules and mandatory consumer law. Contact the store for billing or refund requests. We may change future pricing or features with notice and any consent required by the store or law.

7. Privacy and account deletion

Our Privacy Policy explains the information processed by the service and your rights. You can delete your account in Settings → Delete account, or request deletion at scrollshelf.xyz/delete-account. Deletion removes access to your saved library and is not reversible through the app. Certain records may remain for the limited reasons described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Availability, suspension and ending use

We work to keep Scrollshelf available but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, permanent availability of source material or compatibility with every third-party service. We may restrict accounts used unlawfully or abusively, or where needed to protect the service, with notice and an opportunity to address the issue where appropriate.

You may stop using the service at any time. Export or copy content you need before deleting your account. If we discontinue a paid service, applicable store rules and mandatory consumer remedies continue to apply.

9. Responsibility and disputes

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available, and we do not warrant the accuracy of third-party or AI-generated content. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits your mandatory statutory rights.

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a problem. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive rights to bring claims before courts or consumer authorities available under applicable law.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms when functionality or legal requirements change. We will publish the effective date and provide notice or seek agreement where required for material changes. Questions: contact@lumiostudio.co.
